Hustling is a fad today. Let’s dive into a brief history. It’s basically street lingo that mostly used to refer to criminals.

The basic rationale is that these people are out there working while everyone is asleep and in a hustler’s world, you have to keep working to get paid.

But here’s the catch. In marathons and cross country races, there are always people who start off like rabbits and many others follow suit. That pace is unsustainable in the long run and they end up burning out.

When at work, learn to spot these rabbits and instead of comparing yourself to them and imitating this behaviour, set your own pace.

Identify your long term goals, balance out your professional and personal life and run your own race!

THIS WEEK: Don’t get overwhelmed by the “hustlers” at work. Choose your own pace.
