If you’re looking for the perfect budget holiday, Lisbon is a great choice.

Known for its beautiful coastline, cuisine and history, you are bound to have a lovely time at Lisbon.

For inexpensive meals, head where all Portuguese go. Their cafes offer traditional dishes like Bacalhau that you must try.

If you use public transportation, the costs are barely at $2 on average each side and the place is well connected via metros and trams.

Good value accommodation also averages at just $45 a night. We’d suggest you set base in the Baixa District.

Your flight ticket might be the only big expenditure and you can reduce that by planning months in advance and by avoiding the peak season. Spring and autumn are a great time for that.
