Cheese makes everything better. And yeah, vegan cheese sounds like it defeats the purpose of cheese. But trust us, it tastes delish!

The process of making it is pretty simple and straightforward. You just need a saucepan and whisk, and simple ingredients such as

– Coconut milk or cashew milk for the base- Since vegan cheese is all about non-dairy products and it is a great substitute for normal milk.

– Agar Agar and Tapioca Starch- The creamy and melted pull factor of cheese is something that we are all fond of. It can be achieved by using Agar agar which can also be termed as vegan gelatine. With the use of tapioca starch along with agar agar, it will be perfecto cheese!

– Nutritional Yeast along with the flavor you want- Now the question comes, how to make coconut milk, along with agar agar and tapioca starch, to taste like cheese? Nutritional yeast along with any kind of flavor you like will bring in the taste of mozzarella or parmesan or whatever you like.

One of the best flavors of vegan cheese would be garlic and herb-infused in it.

You just need garlic powder for that strong flavor of garlic, fresh/dried herbs and with a firm squeeze of lemon you can bring in the punch of sharp cheddar.

That is it, you are all set to make your first vegan cheese!
