Perhaps, comfort zone is man’s biggest enemy. That, and ego.

Most people and organisations in their youth start out with a drive to learn more and become better.

But both people and organisations mostly succumb to common entropy patterns.

Focusing on principles gradually shifts to focusing on just rules and following procedures.

Humility is replaced by arrogance.

The proactive attitude changes to reactive because people become complacent and comfortable after a point.

The agile, collaborative nature of people is replaced with insular and inefficient practices.

Recognise these patterns around you and strive to steer clear of them.

They will hamper personal and organisational growth and prevent you from unlocking your true potential.
