A brief introduction: The acronym LO-FI stands for low fidelity. It is a type of sound recording with technical flaws. These flaws trigger the cerebrum and help people focus on their work.

The lack of quantization, low bitrate, the fuzz of a vinyl tape etc. adds character to the track and leaves room for mistakes.

When every instrument and sample is crystal clear, it is tougher to make a good track. The discrepancies would sound terrible on a non lofi track.

But when it’s a collection of low quality of sounds and textures, it gives the freedom to make a good lofi track. And this genre is known to activate the frontal lobe of the listener’s brain.

We found a dope, 50 minute Lo-Fi playlist for you.

THIS WEEK: Tune in to this Lo-Fi playlist at work to enhance your productivity.
